THE 2008 BROOKVIEW ENVIRONMENTAL PLEDGE (Web Submission)

The planet Earth is our only home. Let us all show that we care by doing our part for the environment. We are asking every Brookview student and their families to commit to the four simple actions below. You’ll see that even the smallest action, if taken up collectively, can amount to big change.

  • I pledge to turn the lights and computers off when they are not in use.

  • I pledge to turn off the water faucet while brushing my teeth.

  • I pledge to shut off my car engine when I’m parked and waiting in my car for more than 30 seconds.

  • I pledge to recycle newspapers, cans, and bottles.
