Novus Solutions Web Page Creation Instructional Presentation
This PowerPoint presentation, from Novus Solutions, shows the user how to create web pages using the Novus Solutions product, which the district owns.

Quest Training CD's
Each school library currently has a set of the 2000 instructional CDs available for staff to check out.

The Instructional Technology Department license with Quest allows us to make unlimited copies of these training CDs to distribute to District 205 staff. If you would like a set for your own use, send a sufficient number disks and a list of the titles you want to Tim McFadden at the Board Office. (Please purchase "Imation", "Memorex", "Sony" or "Verbatim" blank CDRs (NOT CDRWs). Also, my mass duplicator will not accept TDK and some generic brand CDR's. I will make copies and return them to you. I might suggest that a group of people purchase a spindle. Send the spindel with sufficient CDs for the number of CDs that you requested. (Cut off the UPC labels needed for any rebate before sending them to me.) If you are sending jewel cases through board mail, be sure to package them well.

You could also send a check for $1 per CD ordered (make payment to Rockford Public Schools), and a list of the CD's you would like through board mail. Be sure to include your name and school.

There have been some issues where older CD drives will not read the CDR's. This is rare, but if it does occur, please contact me!

Remember that these are tutorial CD's and not the actual program. These CD's will function even if the program is not installed on the computer. It simulates the program screen, and is a self-paced method of learning.
